About The Verge Awards for Teens on the Verge of Greatness!
"Our mission is to celebrate and support the dreams of young creators, innovators, athletes and changemakers - teens on the verge of greatness – and empower them to change the world." Linda Neaton, Founder
With our online Festival, Creative Force for Good, Benefit Variety Shows and behind the scenes Dream Team challenges, all teens age 13-19 now have the opportunity to:
shine in the spotlight of a virtual festival
hear applause and encouragement from massive online audiences (and celebrities!)
be discovered by college and other talent recruiters
use their passions to increase awareness of causes they care most about
host, star in and help produce and promote their own benefit variety shows
raise $millions to invest in the most promising youth-led solutions
earn immediate income from their creative work
secure funding for their STEM inventions and entrepreneurial ideas!
In other words, all teens on the verge of greatness can finally “Be seen, be heard and be the change.”
And this is all FREE thanks to volunteers and wonderful sponsors and donors!
Fans - you can help, just by watching! And even more by spreading the word! That's because the bigger the audience, the more sponsorship funds these amazing kids will raise. And we're relying on you, their families, friends, educators and community members to help make this a time in their lives they won't ever forget - in a good way.
Let's show them our love and support! (Sign the form below!)
With abundant hope,

OUR BROADER GOALS:
Lift the spirits of heartbroken teens whose high school and community plays, concerts, exhibits, tournaments and other live events that have been cancelled… again.
Celebrate the diversity of teen passions and talent in a fun and culturally-relevant way, increase mutual respect and reduce bullying.
Invest in underserved teens with tremendous raw talent and potential by offering free educational content, mentorships, scholarships and life-changing experiences.
Encourage disengaged and underperforming students to pursue their passions and help them learn about varied careers that value creative and technical abilities.
