This is a very emotional time for all of us... and I'm sure you can imagine that teens are really feeling it too; they may be angry, scared, hurt or confused... or even hopeful and determined to “Be the change they want to see.”
At the same time, high school and community plays, concerts, art exhibits, athletic tournaments, and STEM competitions--the very programs that allow teens to focus on something positive and achieve their full potential -- have been canceled over and over again. It's heartbreaking, isn't it?
That’s why we at The Verge Awards® decided to build a platform where creative and inventive teens can finally hear the applause and encouragement they deserve... and raise $millions for issues they care most about while doing so!
Now, teenage singers, dancers, musicians, artists, fashion designers, inventors, comedians and more can:
shine in the spotlight of dozens of virtual stages and galleries in the virtual Festival of Teen Talent and Potential
use their passions to support causes most important to them, such as racial equity, climate change, covid relief, voting and democracy, LGBTQ+ youth, school safety, adoption/foster care, animal welfare, and more
star in "Teens on the Verge" weekly, celebrity-filled variety benefit shows and raise awareness of and $millions in sponsorship profit for different causes each week!
feel the joy of performing / presenting in major venues in LIVE Statewide Festivals that raise funds for arts and STEM education!
This cause marketing and sponsorship model means the bigger the audience, the more funds these amazing kids can raise. That's why celebrities in music, dance, photography, spoken word and more (like Broadway TV, film and music star Kristin Chenoweth!) are already signing up to support this wonderful youth-led movement!
You can change lives by helping us ~ create an uplifting experience for all teens who participate ~ rally families, educators, and entire communities to support them ~ encourage celebrities/influencers to participate ~ produce shows and cause-specific content ~ expand our platform and build apps ~ secure sponsors, strategic partners, media donations, and donors
I look forward to hearing your ideas and working with you! Linda Neaton
The more volunteers, the lower our costs and the more we can donate to the causes!
